The Ride began as the Doulos left Manila, the Philippines a few days ago en route for Batangas, about eleven hours sailing time. We are still on the island of Luzon, where the people are very friendly. Although this town is “off the beaten path” for tourists, the people seem to really appreciate us being around. We had a team of forty go out today to help plant one hundred and twenty-five trees .
